is the cork one piece of fragments witch are glued together?

i never build a cork nest because im afraid that the glue is harmful for the ants.

do you put red foil on the glass ore are the ants used to the light?



i cant say anything about the ants, its hard to recognize them :P

but its not only a problem of the cam, picture 2,3and4 are blured.
drink less coffee ore try to put the cam on a solid ground and use the timer to shot a picture. so you dont have to touch the cam and cant shake it.

and do the cam have a macro mode? if you dont know read the manual.

you could also try to take a picture trough a magnifing glass.

if you got some better pics poste it, im very interested :]


and another thing. in my opinion you dont have to post the google german translation, its very hard to read and often make no sense.

everybody should be able to read english, and if not, they can use the google translator for themselves.

just try to avoid hard words, like if you talk to a small kid

It is the adhesed cork... I don't think it is harmful, personally. They are adapted to the light, the foil is unnecessary.

The ants probably look like your black carpenters ants

The camera itself isn't very good, unfortunately -- it wasn't designed for macro shots.

Also, it's not a google translation, I'm using my 4 years of German studies to the best of my ability .

Edit: Actually, I don't think it is glued, I believe it is just compressed.
